PORTO VISTA HOTEL IN LITTLE ITALY (ADULTS ONLY), San Diego – A Smart Stay in the City

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms had dim lighting with low wattage bulbs and a quirky design featuring a large sliding frosted glass door for the bathroom, which I found nice. However, my room was on the smaller side, had wood floors, and was situated next to employee housing, although the personalized curtains added a nice touch.

The hotel is centrally located in the heart of Little Italy, within walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though the soundproofing seemed questionable. The service was friendly overall, but there were some issues with communication and privacy. The dining options were decent, and the location was ideal for exploring Little Italy. Overall, a good value for the money.

The hotel had some drawbacks like stale-smelling rooms and slow elevators, and the parking fee was disappointing considering the room price, but the location and service made up for it with great proximity to attractions and friendly staff.
